Canon PIXMA TR7550 Drivers Download– The Canon PIXMA TR7550 is a compact all-in-one color inkjet printer for small business environments. Thanks to the 20-sheet ADF, you can easily scan and copy multiple documents in quick succession. Connect your desktop, laptop, or cell phone using WiFi or Bluetooth and use each device to print remotely. Alternatively, you can also send print jobs via the cloud.
Your documents will be waiting for you in the office when your meeting is over. With a print resolution of 4800 x 1200 DPI, this printer is suitable for printing sharp visual materials. Plus, thanks to 5 separate ink cartridges, your flyers will look incredibly colorful. Store photo paper in a special tray at the back of the printer to keep it separate from standard text paper.
Print Speed & Quality
The average print speed is about 10 pages per minute on a normal document, which is fine for a small home office printer, but not the best. If the printer performance is excellent, the medium printing speed will be acceptable but this Canon quality is a bit disappointing, Their previous range of printers in the TS range is a fantastic machine dominating our top printer recommendations for the last 12 months, with all-round great quality. The TR7550 is nowhere near that quality. The black print quality in particular has a very “budget” feel, with text that isn’t crisp or sharp, and the same is true for most of your mono document prints. Even the graphics get rough which is never good.
Surprisingly for a printer meant to excel for office environments, the TR7550 has far better photo print quality, with vibrant vibrant colors and accurate reproduction. There are better photo printers to buy so that point is fairly moot, leaving the TR7550 to try too many things but not excel in any of them.
Canon Pixma TR7550 Ink Cartridges & Operating Costs
The Canon Pixma TR7550 is familiar with most of the top model Pixma printers as it requires five cartridges. You have one “fat” black, PGI-580, which is used for printing text and documents, and four individual colors (including a second black), the CLI-581 range, which is used for printing images and graphics. Each cartridge comes in standard, high, and extra high capacity versions allowing you to choose the ink and price that suits your usage.
The addition of a third tier of “extra high capacity” adds a rather unnecessary option in our opinion. The capacity in standard ink, up to 200 pages per cartridge, is so small that they might as well have omitted the range and have high capacity and extra high capacity instead. The page yield in extra high capacity is not even that high, with the XXL PGI-580 ink reaching only 600 pages, small enough for an office machine.
Expensive running costs for an office-focused machine, running at over 2.5p per page using all colors and a gigantic 3p per page using only the black pgi-580 cartridge. This is acceptable in photo printers where usage is focused on image and quality, but targets printers in office environments with high operating costs, on small capacity cartridges.

Bidirectional paper feed is a nice touch, allowing you to feed on both the front and back of the printer. This allows you to load different paper sizes without the hassle of switching between prints.
