Canon imageCLASS D530 Driver Download
Canon imageCLASS D530 Printer Reviews– For those of you who need the imageClass D530 driver already on the right blog, beforehand we want to parse in advance about the ability of Canon imageClass D530 Multifunctional Copier as a copier, as opposed to a multifunction printer (MFP), because the imageClass D530 can print from a computer other than scanning and fax. imageClass D530 has features and connectivity mostly directed to be used as standalone photocopiers.
imageClass D530 Feature
The D530 measures 12 times 15.4 times 17.2 inches, and weighs 27 pounds with cartridges installed. As you would expect, the D530 imageClass has several copy / scan options available from the front panel rather than the usual MFP. For example, one button controls two-sided copying (1 side to 2 sides, 2 sides to 1 side, and 2 sides to 2 sides); the other, labeled “N on 1”, allows you to choose between 4-on-1, 2-on-1 and ID Card copies.

The alphanumeric keypad allows you to set the number of copies. You can set the D530 to make a copy, although it won’t separate it. Also on the front panel is a 5-line backlit LCD, and a 4-way rocker control with the OK button in the middle lets you apply the options.
Under the top cover is a flatbed, which is suitable for letter or A4 sized paper. The D530 does not have an automatic document supplier (ADF), so you have to load one sheet at a time, open the lid to access the flatbed, limiting you to copying or scanning relatively short documents. The paper capacity is 250 sheets plus 1 sheet multipurpose tray, which should be good for light duty use in a small office or home, or as a personal MFP in any size office.
The lack of ADF limits the usefulness of the D530 for copying and scanning relatively short documents – no one wants to feed 100 pages of pages per page, opening a flatbed cover for each page.
Because the D530 does not have a port for a USB thumb drive, it must be connected to a computer to scan. You can start scanning either from the printer’s front panel or from your computer. Because it is compatible with Twain and WIA, you can scan from almost any program that has a scan command. Format it to include Hi-Compression PDF (Windows only), searchable PDFs (Windows only), PDF, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, and PNG.
Print Speed
The D530 printing speed is rated 16 pages per minute in its default duplex (two-sided) mode, and 26 pages per minute in simplex. In duplex (we use the default mode for our official time settings), I set the time on our business application suite at 10.1 pages per minute (ppm) effectively, and 12 ppm when I switch to simplex. This speed is fast for speed and rated prices, and is comparable to Canon EditorC Choice ImageClass MF4880dw $ 642.00 on Amazon, which we clock at 9.6 ppm in duplex and 12.5 ppm in simplex. At this speed we do not consider speed differences to be less than one page per minute as significant, so they are basically bound. The HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf MFP was tested at 11.1 ppm and Editor’s Choice Panasonic KX-MB2000Best Price on Amazon, rated 24 pages per minute, was tested at 7.9 ppm – both in simplex (both do not have automatic duplexers).
Output Quality
Output quality is slightly below the average for mono lasers, with text quality on the average high side, substandard graphics, and photo quality on the average low side. Text quality must be good for standard business use except for those who need very small fonts, such as demanding desktop publishing applications.
With graphics, there is significant dithering (visible point pattern). Several thin lines that have been colored in the original are not visible, and one illustration designed to remove the posterization – a sudden change in shade where there should be gradual – shows a uniform dark color with no brighter tone that should be there. The quality doesn’t match what I’m looking for to print PowerPoint handouts, for example.
Photos also show significant dithering and some posterization. Good quality for printing images from webpages or files, but may not be used in client bulletins.
